Meet your Wexford County Undersheriff
	Fred A. Harris

     Undersheriff Fred A. Harris began his criminal justice career with the Wexford County Sheriff's Office in 1979, beginning in the jail as a Corrections Officer.  Subsequent transfers and promotions included Deputy Sheriff, Law Enforcement Division, and Sergeant, Law Enforcement Division.

     Over the past several years, Undersheriff Harris has held such departmental assignments as Evidence Technician, Fire/Arson Investigator, and County Diver.

     As Undersheriff, Harris holds the department's second highest ranking position, following the appointment by Sheriff Gary A. Finstrom in 1993.  As well as overseeing departmental operations, Undersheriff Harris also serves as the Wexford County 9-1-1 Central Dispatch Director and oversees the countywide 9-1-1 Central Dispatch operations.
